My Aunt Mare' who is the best thing ever was walking Target the other week and was thinking of her train obsessed nephew and spotted a light up train, and thought that Tyler couldn't live without it. So being Mare' she shipped it from the Target store and it was suppose to arrive here last week sometime. She called Target when it didn't arrive and found that the item was on a delay until the end of January. So she canceled the order and gave Jamie and me the job to go to a Target store and find one. I though that it was going to be quite difficult but the first store we went into they had like 3 on the shelf. We took it up to customer service and handed our cell phone over to the employee and Mare' gave them her card number. We loaded up the box and headed for my cousins house where Tyler was. We showed up with a great idea as to how to present it to Tyler. We had the box in the trunk of the car and we had written a letter "to Tyler" "from Santa" saying that Santa had run out of room on his sleigh. We ran inside to get Tyler to help carry in some bags and he spotted the huge box right away. He was like "IS THAT FOR ME???" We read the letter from Santa and he was incredibly excited!
When we got home from Utah yesterday that was the first thing that Tyler wanted to do was to put together the train. So we did. He has been loving having it in our kitchen. He is afraid of putting it outside, he doesn't want it to get stolen. Goofy kid. He actually wanted it in his room but his room is close to the size of a small box.

That is SOO cute!! What a good idea...and good thing Santa left that note for him...I can't imagine Santa having to leave it at the North Pole, because he didn't have enough room!! Lucky Tyler...I want a surprise "visit" too!! :) :)

OH how fun! Tyler looks so happy. I am galde to hear you got ot do some shopping. We were going to offer to take Tyler but our back seat was down cause we brought our stroller. Do you think Tyler will want to take the train down after Christmas I over? :)
What a fun surprise! You guys came up with a fun and creative story to tell him, too. I love Christmas - these are the kind of things that make it fun!
Hey...I have a Christmas gift for you...when would be a good time to see you?
