We surprised Jamie today. I took Tyler out of school and we headed to Jamie's work to pick him up to take him out to lunch. He was surprised. Jamie chose Fire Wok. Good choice! We had a yummy teriaki bowl and the boys had Micki D's.

The man of the hour! Preston is such a wonderful baby. That is one thing I have been blessed with is good easy babies. I think my pregnancies are rough and hard and then at the end of all that I get these wonderful babies that love to eat and sleep.

Me and the littlest of my men. I feel so blessed to be a mother to Preston and to my other little guys. I try to do my best with teaching them and loving them, everyday.
Tyler doesn't have any grandparents that live close enough to participate in the schools grandparents day celebration, but he did color this card for his grandparents. He has more than the average kid. So this is for all of Tyler's grandma's and grandpa's!
I am glad that potty training is only done once with each child. That once they are potty trained you don't have to do it again with that child. I hate potty training. It's messy. It's stressful once you make the final transition to underwear. I just plain don't like it! I am so glad that I can say that Carter is fully potty trained! Two down one to go.
Our little Preston is 3 months today! It's hard to believe that he is that old! Not that 3 months is old by any means but time flies when I am not pregnant! Preston continues to be a light, and such a delightful little baby. He is sleeping through the night and eats so good!
Preston and Seth were born on the same day. Seth's mom and I were pregnant at the same time and actually our due dates were a week apart. We joked throughout our pregnancy how funny it would be if we delivered on the same day and crazy thing happened....I went into labor and she had a scheduled C-section all on the same day. It's funny how things happen. But these two little guys are right on par as far as development goes. It will be fun to watch them keep growing together!
Today Tyler went back to school....as a first grader! Wow. It seems like yesterday I was feeding him bottles and changing his bum. Now I have a kid that goes to school and is learning and all that grown up kids stuff!
I got to talk to him for all of 5 minutes when he got home. He said that school was good and he couldn't remember anything else and then he was off to play with the neighbor kids.
The boys got a goodie bag from their gramma and grampa Johnson. Tyler knew that a special package was going to arrive today and every knock at the door or phone ring he went nuts!

I have been trying for over a month now to capture Preston smiling in a picture. I FINALLY got it!

You can tell from this picture he's real happy about being 2 months too. I took little Pres to the doctor today for his 2 month check up. He got 3 shots...poor guy. He was a champ though! He weighed 12 pounds 8 ounces if you believe that! He was just shy of 25 inches long. He is continuing to be a great little baby. He is practically sleeping through the night gets up between 3 and 4 for a feeding and then goes back to sleep. I am a lucky mamma.
My littlest munchkin is two months today....where does time go? I take him to the doctor tomorrow. I am anxious to see how much he weighs, he's quite thick!
Carter constantly has a messy face. It doesn't matter if it's Dorito's or cucumbers he finds a way to get it all over himself and others. While I was in the shower Tyler and Carter decided to help themselves to some Drumsticks in our freezer. This is my little Carter wearing his. This is by far the messiest he has ever gotten eating ice cream!
Lazy days. We have been having some wonderfully lazy days this summer. I have taken the boys up to Landa Park almost every Friday. They love playing in the water with all the kids there. Pres and I lay out and relax. Of course I do keep Preston in the shade with the crazy Texas sun! I take him into the pool to cool him off and then put him in the chair (above) and he is as happy as can be.
Carter loves to have floaties. This picture was a little delayed in being taken. He was sitting in the tube thing and using the noodle as a paddle until he tipped over.

It's sad to think that the summer is quickly coming to an end and I will have a FIRST grader! So crazy how fast time flies!
