Potty training Carterman

I am glad that potty training is only done once with each child. That once they are potty trained you don't have to do it again with that child. I hate potty training. It's messy. It's stressful once you make the final transition to underwear. I just plain don't like it! I am so glad that I can say that Carter is fully potty trained! Two down one to go.

Care-package from gramma and grampa Johnson
The boys got a goodie bag from their gramma and grampa Johnson. Tyler knew that a special package was going to arrive today and every knock at the door or phone ring he went nuts!

Always so messy...

Carter constantly has a messy face. It doesn't matter if it's Dorito's or cucumbers he finds a way to get it all over himself and others. While I was in the shower Tyler and Carter decided to help themselves to some Drumsticks in our freezer. This is my little Carter wearing his. This is by far the messiest he has ever gotten eating ice cream!

The Fourth of July *Fireworks*
Well, like everyone else we headed out and watched some fireworks on the 4th. We went with my friend Sarah and her boys. We parked our vehicles opened the back and munched on some popcorn and chocolate milk. The show was pretty weak sauce compared to others that we have seen but it pleased Ty and Carts so that is all that matters.

More of Little Preston
This is me in the "waiting" area to see if I am really in labor. We got an Ipad from Jamie's work and it couldn't have come at a better time than when we were heading to the hospital to have a baby!
I had the best nurse EVER! All day when I was laboring I was talking about food. What I was going to eat when it was all over and this sweet nurse of mine took pity on me and instead of bringing me this nasty meal that the hospital had been saving for me she "stole" some food from the doctors louge! Now if that isn't awesome I don't know what is. She brought me the worlds best ham sandwich, chips and coke. She rocks.
We made it home safe and sound on the Friday late afternoon. It is always soo nice to get back home and sleep in your own bed and not be bothered by nurses and others when you are trying to sleep. A newborn is one thing but yeah home is a great place! Now I just need to get used to having 3 boys! It is going to be an adjustment but we'll do it!

Crazy Carter
Shame on me for being upstairs folding laundry and leaving Carter alone for roughly 41 minutes. Carter is a climber, a serious climber at that. He scaled our shelves in our pantry and got down a bag of Honey Bunches of Oats and had a little fun with it. As you can see from the pictures he was laying on his stomach and using his hands and swirling it around. Ahhh, Carter. Never a dull moment with him!

Spring Break Day 5
The initial plan was to go to Enchanted Rock and hike around and have a picnic. But the park filled up at 9:30 and we got there around 11. So plan B was to head back the way we came and have a picnic in Fredricksburg and let the boys run around and play at the play ground there. It was a great time!
We had a great "camp-out" dinner complete with foil dinners. Mmmm good times! What made the night that much better is around 6am in the morning Jamie and the boys came in because it was raining....Texas rain. Sprinkles don't exist here. So needless to say they all came in dried off and went back to bed. We all rolled out of bed around 9am. Now that's good camp' n!
