Both of my grandpa's served in the United States Army. My Grandpa Johnson served in WWII. I am grateful for those that serve and that have served our country.
If you don't know much about the tomb of the unknowns here's a little bit about it. There has always been someone guarding the tomb since 1937. They pace 21 steps pause for 21 seconds then turn around and pace 21 steps, 7 days a week, 24 hours a day, rain or shine. It is considered to be the highest honor to be one of the guards.
Today as we enjoy the day off work take a few minutes to pay tribute to those that have graciously and unselfishly served us in this country I would ask that we reflect on the blessings that have come from those that have given their lives to this country.

I agree with you. We have so much to be grateful for in this country. And we owe so much to those who have fought and are fighting for us right now. It doesn't matter if we agree with this war or not, we do need to be grateful and show our gratitude toward those who are fighting for us!
