Playing Catch Up

This past week we had Jamie's parents here. We have been quite busy! I'll give you a quick run through of what we did with them while they were here.

1~We surprised them at the airport (Wednesday)
2~On Thursday we had lunch with Jamie at USAA
3~After lunch we went to Wal-mart and the boys picked out their birthday and Christmas presents.
4~On Friday we went to the Witte Museum. The very first picture is Tyler and G and G out side of the museum.

Carter, he is so patient! This is Carter at the museum.

This was a pretty neat museum. They had the normal displays and videos, but when you walked outside they have this building that is full of hands on stuff for the kids to experiment and play with.

5~We ate at the yummy Taco Taco Cafe
6~We made it up to the outlet malls (holy crap there's a lot of stores!)
7~On Saturday we got up and headed North. We had never been to Austin and either had Marg and Gord. So Austin it was. The boys went to a store named Fry's, and the Girls (and Carter) went to Ikea. (love that store!).
8~We drove by the capital

9~We ate at Pappasitas. Here is Marg with the fried icecream that we ordered. It was delish!

Enjoying grandma and grandpa during dinner.
10~After Tyler's school on Monday, we went down to the RiverWalk.

11~We had dinner at P.F.Changs
12~Tuesday Morning Tyler had a doctors appointment for his eyes and then after that we went to Freddy's for a goodbye lunch!

We had a great time with Marg and Gord. Tyler is already asking when they are coming again.

Boy and I thought I was busy last week. I need a nap after all that you did. Austin is awesome, hopefully we can go next summer and swim in Zelker Park, a natural spring that comes out from the Edward's aquifer that goes through San Antonio and all the little towns from here to Austin.
